QUICK FACTS:

With over 2,000 enrolled students, Redwood High School is the largest high school in the county. Founded in 2001 our team was one of the first high school mountain bike teams in Marin County. Today, we are a co-ed team of approximately 50 students. All coaches are volunteers, some coaches are parents, while others have no connection to the school but everyone has a love of the sport.

Our team provides one of the few ‘no-cut’ sport options at RHS; students of all abilities and grade levels are welcome to join. A few riders have never ridden a mountain bike before. Nonetheless, we are consistently one of the top high school mountain bike teams in the state. Our talented coaches provide more than just expert advice on bike maintenance, riding, and racing. We also educate our teens about the importance of nutrition, hydration, sleep, and other healthy habits that last a lifetime. Ahhh - fresh air, remarkable views, and Mt Tam. Marin County is not only beautiful, it’s also a cycling playground that challenges and rewards us. We mix high-intensity intervals with endurance rides and technical skills work. We’re pretty proud of the results:

• 2023 -19 Individual Podium Finishes. Two team podiums (2nd @ Fort Ord & Petaluma),

  3rd Place NorCal Championships (Including three Individual Podium Finishes)

• 2022 - 16 Individual Podium Finishes; two team podium finishes (4 race series)

• 2021 - 28 Individual Podium Finishes across the (COIVD truncated) three-race NorCal series

• 2020 - 2nd Place Overall @ Swasey Shred (Redding) (Including five Individual Podium Finishes)

• 2019 - 1st Place State Championships (Including three Individual Podium Finishes)

• 2018 - 5th Place State Championships (Including three Individual Podium Finishes)

• 2017 - 4th Place State Championships

• 2016 - State Coach Spirit Award (Doug Ott)

• 2014 - 1st Place State Championships

• 2014 - National Coach of the Year (Julia Violich)

• 2013 - 1st Place State Championships

We are nurturing the next generation of mountain bikers. Naturally, we value teamwork, fitness, discipline, perseverance, and competition. But it’s more than that. Being part of a team in such a large high school makes the school feel a bit smaller. Additionally, practices provide a positive outlet for our teenagers.

If you ride, you know mountain biking is an expensive sport, and the bike itself is just the initial requirement. Sponsorship makes mountain biking an option for all interested students. Your support would help cover scholarships! Last year we awarded more scholarships to riders in need than ever before. They couldn’t have participated without financial assistance to cover league dues and race entry fees. coaching certification requirements, team equipment, and gas money to pull the trailer to all of the races.

ALUMINUM LEVEL: $750

CARBON LEVEL: $1,250/year 

• Medium-sized logo on team trailer.  

• Your organization’s name or logo on the team jersey (pocket) for two years.

• Prominent listing of name or logo on website with link and 

• Social media tags (at least 3).  

• One complimentary team jersey (one per year).

TITANIUM LEVEL: $1,500/year (Two-Year Commitment)

• Large-sized logo on our team trailer for 2 years (front or side).  

• Your organization’s name or logo on the team jersey (shoulder or side panel) for 2 years. 

• Prominent listing of name or logo on website with link.

• Social media tags (at least 6).  

• Two complimentary team jerseys (one per year). 

PLATINUM / TITLE SPONSOR: $3,000/year (Three-Year Commitment)

• X-Large-sized logo on our team trailer for 3 years (front or side).  

• Top tier listing of your organization’s name or logo on the team jersey (front and center) for 3 years.  

• Prominent listing of name or logo on website with link.

• Social media tags (at least 12).  

• Three complimentary team jerseys (one per year). 

JERSEYS:

Each year our team enthusiastically designs a new jersey. Sponsors are listed on the jersey with size and position determined by sponsorship level. Logging over 60 outdoor training sessions each season, our jerseys (and sponsor logos) will be seen on local Mt. Tam & China Camp trails and at all team races.

TEAM TRAILER:

Our 6’x12’ team trailer is just waiting to highlight your organization’s brand. Our trailer hauls race gear and equipment approximately 2,000 miles per season (6 weekends) along California’s major highways. Once at the race site, our trailer parks where all racers, coaches, guests, and parent volunteers congregate during downtime before and after individual events. It all adds up to significant local and regional visibility for sponsors. Our team is buzzing with new team jersey design ideas. May we include your organization’s name or logo on our jersey this season? And display it on the side of our trailer?
